Eye measurements: This i hope is with an ophthalmologist. You will have a measurement of eye vision, need for eyeglasses (far and near) , determination of the anatomical structures of the eye at high power, measurement of the internal eye pressure (glaucoma check), evaluation of the retinal structure and function and addressing any problems that you might have. Eye exams do not hurt, and can be fun.

If there is inflammation inside eye and doctor directly performs dilated exam with indirect opthalmoscope. Will the inflammation be picked up in that case? or its important to conduct slit lamp exam first for "cell and flare effect" to diagnose it?
