See a dentist: If it was recently cemented, then time is necessary. If it's been a while, call your dentist to have it evaluated. There could be an issue with the bite. There could also be an issue with the nerve of the tooth. A dentist needs to look at the tooth and take a radiograph (x-ray) to determine what's going on under the inlay.

Evaluation: You need an evaluation as to see how close the inlay to the nerve and possibility of the need for root canal treatment..

Maybe: Your body might take care the pain itself with the time. If you have the inlay very recently, the best way is go back to the dentist and have him/her to make adjustment and re-evaluate the nerve vitality.

Maybe: Perhaps time will heal. If prep deep, may have irreversible pulpitis and need root canal. Contact dentist.
