It's a direct look..: Cystoscopy is a direct look with telescope through urethra into the bladder to look for abnormalities such as stone, stricture, tumor, foreign body, etc. And well tolerated under local anethesia. But if signficant abnormalities are found, biopsy or other procedures may be required to get done under sleep or sedation. Expect some local pressure and discomfort. Ask dr for detail...
