A member asked:

Could you please tell me the difference between vf (v-fib) and vt (v-tach) ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

VT vs VF: VT: an organized rhythm arising in the ventricle. VF: a disorganized rhythm with no effective pumping. Depending on various factors, VT may be tolerated for long periods. In some cases, VT is not tolerated or degenerates into VF. VF results in death in a few minutes.
