Possibly: Allergic broncho - pulmonary aspergillosis is a very serious lung disease that needs prompt and thorough investigation and treatment. Traditionally, inhaled steroids and oral steroids where the mainstay of treatment. In recent years, use of oral anti fungals have been tried and the data suggests that this may be an new avenue of treatment. Discuss this with your allergist or pulmonologist.

Yes, but...: Systemic antifungals combined with corticosterods have demonstrated a statistical advantage over steroids alone in studies of patients with bronchopulmonary aspergillosis. Not everyone responds and some patients respond more than others. This is serious medicine for a serious complication of severe asthma. Make sure to discuss its use fully with your lung specialist.
