Infection: Fungal infections can occur on the skin (ringworm, some diaper rashes, athlete's foot, others), on nails, in the genitals (yeast infections), in the mouth (thrush), or less commonly internal organs. Different fungi come from different places, they have different symptoms, and are treated different ways. Some require only a cream, some oral medication, and some IV medication.

Tinactin (tolnaftate): Tinactin (tolnaftate) is an over the counter med that does quite well on most superficial skin fungus issues.Used twice daily it usually takes a week or so to show good progress if its not a fungus it is unlikely to do harm.
