Definitely not: Lack of nutrients is also not very likely since the enamel is fully formed prior to the tooth erupting into your mouth. More likely there is undiagnosed clenching or grinding or perhaps previous trauma that may be so long ago that it seems unrelated.

No: Once formed, teeth do not change. If there was a lack of good nutrition during tooth development than the teeth could be soft... But that is very unusual. Or someone could have a genetic defect... But than again that would be rare and it would also affect more than one tooth.

Weakness?: Toothpaste, any type, can't cause weakening of tooth enamel and chipping. Chipping is caused by tooth to tooth contact usually when there is too much force on one area or when biting on hard objects placed in the mouth.
