for a week i have had gas/bloating that slowly increases through the day and by night causes bloating/pain in upper abs/gas. no diet changes.

Sources of gas...: Air in the digestive tract may come from a variety of sources--maldigestion due to enzyme deficiency (ex. Lactose intolerance) or food intolerance (ex. Gluten sensitivity), fermentation by gut bacteria (as with bacterial overgrowth syndrome or changed flora after antibiotics), altered GI tract motility, excessive air swallowing, as well as inflammatory and infectious causes. Many possibilities: This could be due to food intolerances or could even be a sign of gallbladder disease. You may want to keep a food diary to track food intake. However, you should schedule a consult with your physician.
