A member asked:

6th kidney infection in less then a year...dr thinks they could be caused by endometriosis...is this possible? suggestions on what to do next?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See answer: Kidney infections (pyelonephritis): fever >101, chills, feel ill, positive urine culture. Endometriosis can affect the urinary tract: bladder and/or ureter but is not generally associated with recurrent utis or kidney infections unless blocking the ureter which would be evident on a ct scan. Endometriosis of bladder may cause blood in urine and mimic cystitis uti. Recommend urologic evaluation.
