Balanoposthitis: Balanoposthitis is inflammation of the foreskin and head of the penis (glans penis) and in a diabetic is almost always due to a yeast/fungal infection which grow well where there is moisture and sugar. Treatment: control blood sugar, good penile hygiene, a topical antifungal cream (otc or prescription) applied twice daily, and a prescription for an oral antifungal pill (e, g, fluconaxole). Call md.
