Common problem: Overactive bladder (oab) is defined as "urinary urgency, with or without urge incontinence, usually with frequency and nocturia, in the absence of an obvious cause such as uti, neurological condition, etc. Related to a "short-circuiting" between bladder and brain leading to an involuntary bladder contraction. Treated with behavioral and diet modification, pelvic floor exercises, and medications.
