Throat mass: I would suggest you see an ENT specialist to have this taken care of.

See an ENT: The likelihood is very very high this is laryngopharyngeal reflux, or acid burning your voicebox area, but you'd need a quick pass of a noodle-like camera down your nose to view your throat by an ENT to be sure it isn't anything else. It is not really painful and is very quick (under a minute). The treatment is usually a special antacid medicine and it should resolve with that. Good luck.
