Hida scan resultsare 34% with no stones. what is my prognosis?

Ejection fraction: The 34% is the ejection fraction, the effectiveness of gallbladder contraction which is at around the lower end of normal. Talk to your doctor as I am sure this was done due to symptoms, and that is what your doctor is treating and may not necessarily be the numbers.

Dyskinesia: 34% is borderline gall bladder ejection fraction in hida study. Patient's symptoms are very important to compare with hida results. Some patients have gall bladder dyskinesia which is stone free, but produces similar symptoms, sometimes relief by diet or surgery. Gall bladder diet with elimination of certain foods is important in reducing symptoms.
