Baby toe: There is no history of trauma here but i suspect there was as you say it is bloody under the nail. If the area is moist or draining keep a topical antibiotic and band aid in place and see your podiatrist.

Remove and clean: If it is too painful to remove on your own, see a podiatrist. The nail will not re-attach and is only creating an environment for bacterial infection.
