A member asked:

Is a ana titer of 1:640, homogenous considered high? rhuemy said i might have sle but would never diagnose in a male. should i get a 2nd opinion?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See details: That ANA is positive. If the clinical picture fits then you have sle regardless of whether you are male or female. Being a male does not exclude the diagnosis. Get a 2nd opinion if you are concerned.
