Yes: Your fainting spell while having a blood test is not uncommon. It is called a vaso-vagal attack.

Vasovagal: sounds like a typical vasovagal response to needle pick, pain or sight of blood causes transient drop in heart rate making you faint. this is not that uncommon and not dangerous. if you faint without a provokator that warrants more workup.
