Depends.: Risperdal consta is completely eleminated from the system in 7-8 weeks. However in 15-30 days the levels can drop significantly enough to resolve side-effects. I am sorry that this medication is causing you trouble. However, the fact that it was recommended suggests that your doctor may have been concerned about your sticking to a med regimen. Please don't stop it without discussing with him/her.
