A member asked:

I was diagnosed with pcos awhile back , when i did the ultra sound again, it showed no evidence of polycystic ovaries.. is that possible?

PCOS: Pcos should be diagnosed by more than just an ultrasound. Many times patients also have irregular menstrual cycles and elevated hormones like testosterone or signs of unwanted hair growth and/or acne. There are many aspects to the diagnosis. You might consider seeing a reproductive endocrinologist.
