How much will a vegetarian diet lower my cholesterol ? male 44 years old- 204 cholesterol now.

Depends: Eating 6 equal meals with 6 servings of fresh or steamed vegetables and one apple a day, relaxing, and exercising for 10 minutes after each meal will improve overall health and cholesterol whether you eat a vegetarian diet or not. Not exercising and eating a vegetarian diet high in processed food will not improve cholesterol at all.

Wrong approach: Please forgive my frankness. It's individual food choices, not the whole diet. Vegetarianism is a moral choice, not a health-promoting one. When real scientists control for the fact that these people tend to have other healthy habits, the supposed benefits (longevity, protection from various categories of disease) disappear. Eat as your physician directs, and especially more get into exercise.
