Possibly: All tests have false negatives and a pregnancy test is no exception. If you are having no symptoms, i would wait a week and repeat. If it's still negative and you're concerned, see your gynecologist but it's not uncommon for some people to skip a month.

The best time to take one is when you miss your period. If you doubt the result you can repeat it in 1-2 days. If you were pregnant the hormone level would rise enough for detection. See a doctor to discuss irregular periods.
