I sometimes have a burning pain in my upper abdomen. could this be caused by gall bladder. it seems to happen after i eat. it also burns in my back.

Possibly: It could also be due to problems with the liver, pancreas, stomach, esophagus, heart, etc. It requires a proper evaluation and diagnosis. Don't wait. Go see your doctor.

Possible: Pain in the upper abdomen or chedt after eating can be due to multiple problems. Reflux esophagitis, gastric or duodenal ulcer, gall bladder, etc. Talk to your doctor about your symptoms and they can work on the appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic options for you.

Possible: Particularly if back pain is just below rt scapula (shoulder blade)- get appt with pcp or gastroenterologist.

Low hydrochloricacid: Low hydrochloric acid cause indigestion which creates putrification of food - causes burn due to production of lactic acid. Suggest when you eat before food take betaine hydrochloride 1000mg and after food take phosphatidyl choline this will help with digestion. To heal burning pain take bromelain plus cla will heal pain in epigastrium.
