Yes: A ganglion cyst is just that- a fluid filled cyst which won't cause many problems other than cosmetic. You can see a hand surgeon if it bothers you for removal.

Probably: Most wrist ganglions are asymtomatic. Occasionally pts. Will have symptoms described as a "aching pain" that occurs with use.

Ok after healed: Once your wrist has healed and you have been cleared by your physician, it is quite possible that you will be able to return to your work out routine with some minor modifications or restrictions.
