First your own MD: If you have multiple soft tissue masses under the skin , most likely they are neurofibromas , some one in your family may also have them , get one biopsied , if they are lipomas gen surgeon , or plastic surgeon will take care of the problem , also possible to remove them by lipo-sucction in order to minimize the scar.

Hi, I have a lump on my left rib costal cartilage (ribs 6,7). Ultrasound show 2 small tumors that GP says theyre 1cm lipomas. Since lipoma is rare on ribs, should I ask for biopsy or seeing a specialist? Im super worried about that?
