Abdominal pains: If persistent or worsening, should always be evaluated in person by a local physician. Regular bowel movements suggest you are not having any colon issues that could be contributing to this. You should keep a diary of what is happening or what time of day this occurs besides simply saying it occurs with walking or getting up. Is there any specific activity that always leads to this symptom?

Various causes: Discomfort in the suprapubic area(lower abdomen) can be due to muscle strain, small hernia, urinary bladder problems or large intestinal problems. If the discomfort persists you will need an examination for further evaluation.
