Lots of causes...: But acute onset of symptoms suggests toxic ingestion, food poisoning, or acute enteritis--runs course assuming you're an otherwise young healthy woman. However, if you can't keep down liquids, have unremitting vomiting, have fever, symptoms evolve and worsen, or see blood with vomitus or diarrhea you will need medical attention asap. Cut out nsaids/aspirin, alcohol, smoking for now ; drink fluids.
