Panic attacks: Panic attacks during sleep could be caused by ptsd, nightmares and flashbacks. Treatment of those symptoms require psychotherapy, and certain specific medications like prazosin or propranolol. Consult with your doctor if you are having symptoms of sleep apnea, which sometimes produce anxiety during sleep. Possibly your medications should be adjusted to cover the nighttime.
