Qhat are some early signs and symptoms of mouth cancer?

Mouth cancer: Any lesion that has not completely resolved after two weeks should be seen by an oral surgeon and evaluated for a biopsy. It's that simple. Also every adult individual should see their dentist for an exam every 6 months which should include a complete head and neck soft tissue examination. Individuals cannot examine themselves nor are trained to know what to look fo.

Signs/Symptoms: See oral surgeon or ENT doc if you have any of these symptoms: Persistent mouth sore, persistent mouth pain, a lump or thickening in the cheek, a white/red patch on the gums, tongue, tonsil, or lining of the mouth, a sore throat or feeling that something is caught in the throat that does not go away, difficulty swallowing/chewing.
