I was wondering what are the complications of vitreous aspiration before trabeculectomy?

Vitreous aspiration: Typically is not before a trabeculectomy (or glaucoma filtering surgery). The only reason i suspect that the aspiration would need to be done would be to help bring down very high intraocular pressure. This would help make the glaucoma surgery less risky.
