Low blood pressure: Usually this symptom is a sign of low blood pressure or low blood flow. It is part of a syndrome known as orthostatic hypotension. You should consult with your regular family care doctor, or internist.

Check blood pressure: The most likely answer is that your blood pressure is falling when you stand up suddenly and takes a few seconds to equilibrate. This can be easily checked by checking the pressure lying, sitting and then standing. It can be a sign of a medical problem so should be checked by your regular md.
