Usually none: If the Epinephrine is absorbed into the vascular system, it may cause heart palpations, increased blood pressure, and agitation. If Lidocaine is absorbed into the blood stream at low doses, it may cause ringing in the ears, metallic taste in the mouth, and other temporary side effects. High doses of Lidocaine absorbed into the blood stream can lead to heart and central nervous system problems.

Side effects: Potentially serious: feeling anxious, shaky, dizzy, restless, or depressed; drowsiness, vomiting, ringing in your ears, blurred vision; confusion, twitching, seizure (convulsions); fast heart rate, rapid breathing, feeling hot or cold; weak or shallow breathing, slow heart rate, weak pulse; or feeling like you might pass out. Less serious mild bruising, swelling numbness mild dizziness and nausea.
