No way to avoid: Cosmic radiation, the most common exposure otherwise is medical. There is no "antidote" that you can take to "protect". Iodine blocks thyroid uptake post nuclear reactor meltdown. Ethyol has not been very acceptible due to toxicity even with medical radiation exposure. Sorry. No solution for you here.
