It is a bone Cancer: Ewings has good treatments but they involve chemotherapy which has side effects. Radiation therapy is often used after chemotherapy. So it is all pretty involved and the patient goes through a lot of visits to hospitals and suffer the side effects of treatments besides loss of time from job/school etc. Your oncologist can explain all this to you if you ask.

Several : Patients typically present with pain in a bone. Most commonly the femur. Patients may also present with what is called a pathological fracture, a break in the bone caused by the cancer. This type of cancer commonly spreads to the lungs and if in an advanced stage, the patient may present with a cough or shortness of breath. Hope this helps.
