When you have an ear infection, how many days before your hearing is back to normal after starting antibiotics?

Days to months: It can take a variable amount of time for the fluid in the middle ear to go away, even when it is no longer infected. The fluid can cause hearing loss. 50% of people no longer have fluid at one month after treatment, 90% no longer have fluid at 3 months after treatment. If it stays for more than 3 months, then you should see an ent.
