No practical way: This can be diagnosed prenatally by obtaining blood from the fetus and testing it. Unfortunately this is quite risky and may terminate a pregnancy. At 8.5 months, you have dealt with the worry so far and need to wait. Testing is part of most state screening programs and done on samples taken within 2 days of birth.
