US liver: Ultrasound (us) of the liver will allow the doctor to visualize the anatomy of the liver i.e. Size, contour and organ density. Us of the liver can rule out mass lesions (benign and malignant) and assess for fatty change. Doppler will allow visualization of the blood flow to the liver. Good luck.

Impossible: to fathom a guess. Red color likely indicates a Color Doppler representation of blood flow, but no way to tell if it is normal or abnormal based on limited info given.
