Some: By virtue of the fact that a colon cleanse "washes" out the colon, some pinworms in the colon lumen will be washed out. But worms can adhere to and invade the colon wall, so this is not adequate treatment. You need an anti-helminthic drug (active against worms) to cure this infection.
