Chest Pain: If you have been repeatedly coughing from the cold, the chest pain is likely due to inflammation of the lung tissue or lung lining or strain of the intercostal chast muscle. However, given your age and lack of information about your medical history, your chest pain needs to be medically evaluated cardiac origin.
