How long does it take to heal trigger finger after surgery?

About 2 weeks:: Once release is done, i encourage my patients to exercise/move the affected finger to prevent any adhesions to form between the tendon and its sheath, and to regain full range of motion. The incision takes 12-14 days to heal, so sutures are taken out then.
