Help docs! i'm trying to find out what causes aquired farsightedness?

Dr. Tim Conrad
Ophthalmology 35 years experience
More likely: You have latent hyperopia that has become manifest as you have gotten older. This means that your eyes have always been farsighted but you have been able to compensate by focusing your eyes. As the focusing has decreased with age, you can no longer compensate. Glasses is the answer.
