A member asked:

When on the patch what signs do you look for to know if you pregnant? what changes?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Period stops: While on birth control pills or birth control patch there is a pattern to the periods of a certain length and heaviness, and those periods are usually lighter than when women aren't on bcp. However if a woman suddenly stops having periods on the patch or pill, or only spots a little, and starts having nausea or breast tenderness that is not usual for her, then i recommend a pregnancy test.
