Very few: Just a few meds are truly prohibited during breast feeding. Always ask your kids doctor if you really have to stop breast feeding whenever you go on a particular medicine. A lot of adult doctors will advise discontinuing breast feeding, when in fact it may be safe 2 continue. I personally keep a book (by dr hale) in my office which lists most meds and their implications in regards to breast feedn.
