A member asked:

Why did i feel like throw up when i start pumping breast milk?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Oxytocin: Is released in a pulse when milk is first ejected into the ducts (during the first minutes of pumping or nursing) These pulsatile bursts of oxytocin can induce nausea which should pass very quickly when they stop.
