At any age: Breast lump need to be evaluated by a physician, at your age cancer is very rare , it is most likely at the age of 24 could be a benign fibroadenoma , see you doctor with out neglecting

Probably benign: A tender "groove" like tender mass is more likely to be due to fibrocystic disease rather than cancer which is usually non tender. In any event, you should check this out with your physician if it does not resolve quickly.
