The je vaccine is available in the U.S. For travelers, to prevent japanese encephalitis transmitted by mosquitoes. The tbe (tick-borne encephalitis) vaccine is available in canada and some european countries but not yet in the U.S..

Encephalitis: It depends. There are vaccines for some types of viral encephalopathies like meales, varicela, arbovirus. Autoimmune encephalopathies don't necessarily have vaccines. There are a ton of causes including, west nile, japanese, western equine encephalitis, eastern equine encephalitis murray valley encephalitis la crosse encephalitis colorado tick fever. Autoimmune encephalitis.
