To much sleep: It certainly sounds like you may have a sleep disorder. I would recommend that you see a sleep specialist for a full overnight polysomnogram to rule out other causes of excessive daytime sleepiness. Best wishes.

Let's Examine: Lethargy and excessive sleep is a symptom of depression. However, this is not the only answer. If you examine your life and start to see an increase in psychosocial stressors and find that you are having a difficult time with coping with said stress, than it is best to take some time in therapy to best explore these problems and learn some coping skills.
