I am 8 weeks post 8 hour whipple surgery which revealed a benign tumor and doing very well. what are your thoughts on moderate alcohol consumption?

No major probelm unl: Unless alcohol was the cause of your pancreatic problem to begin with, you can have a social drink. But if you have had pancreatitis which caused your pancreatic tumor( ?Pseudocyst?), then alcohol use would be dangerous and must be avoided.

OK in moderation: If you are fully recovered and off all pain medication, moderate alcohol intake should not be a problem.
