Do you think i should be afraid of necrotizing fasciitis?

Not sure : If you have nec fas, u should b afraid as it can be deadly. If don't have it and are otherwise healthy then chance of u getting it very low. In this case, don't worry about it. If u are unhealthy (diabetes, obese, other medical comorbidities), and have new onest redness, swelling, and pain, c ur doctor.

Yes if you get it: Is serious soft tissue infection , rapidly spreads , progresses , if neglected or delayed in initiation of aggressive treatment , could lethal., fortunately it is not very common
