Can you tell me if a member of the family suffering from pulmonary fibrosis, what to do?

Type???: There are different types of pulmonary fibrosis, or scaring of the lungs. To determine the cause of the scaring, a biopsy of the affected lung should be obtained and can be done via bronchoscopy. A ct scan of the chest is obtained first. Once these test are done by a lung doctor, then a more definitive diagnosis can be made and treatment outlined.
