Be evaluated: There are a number of reasons that you may not be able to use a tampon. You need to be evaluated by a gynecologist. If your hymen is intact and you are not sexually active, it might be that it needs to be opened more widely. However, an examination is necessary to determine if that is the reason you cannot use it.
