Not a realistic rqst: Asthma is a condition that can be managed well by a pcp with cooperation by the patient. True asthma is a lifelong condition, there is no permanent "fix" like taking out a bad appendix. Patients often go through good years or bad years depending on various factors, but with a good understanding of the process and a plan for regular care, life is good.
